Project Background

The customer was supplying commercial kitchen equipment to the local market and had previously sourced exhaust hoods from regional manufacturers. Most products available in their market were supplied by Turkish manufacturers. However, several issues had become increasingly noticeable during long-term use.

The customer wanted a higher-quality commercial exhaust hood solution that could better meet the requirements of professional kitchens and improve customer satisfaction.

Challenges During the Project

After discussing the project requirements, the customer pointed out two major concerns:

• Most locally available exhaust hoods were not manufactured using AISI 304 stainless steel, which raised concerns regarding corrosion resistance and long-term durability. 

• Many products used folded sheet connections without proper welding treatment at the joints. During use, this could lead to smoke leakage and oil leakage, especially in demanding commercial kitchen environments. 

The customer also required better lighting performance inside the hood area for daily kitchen operations.

Solution Provided

To address these concerns, we developed a customized solution based on the customer's market requirements:

• Manufactured using 100% AISI 304 stainless steel for improved corrosion resistance and long service life 

• Applied full welding treatment at critical connection areas to improve sealing performance and reduce risks of smoke and grease leakage 

• Equipped with GU10 high-temperature resistant lighting specially designed for commercial exhaust hoods, providing stable illumination under high-temperature working conditions 

• Performed detailed quality inspection before shipment to ensure product consistency 

Project Result

After installation and market feedback, the customer reported improvements in overall product quality and performance.

The upgraded exhaust hood solution provided:
